Homogeneous mixture
From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 minA homogeneous mixture is a mixture whose composition is consistent through out the entire volume of the mixture.[1] An example of a homogeneous mixture is lightly salted water; no matter where in the sample the concentration is measured it will always be the same. Milk is mechanically homogenized to prevent separation of the cream layer. Since Milk is a combination of fat protein and water the fat globules can be reduced in size by forcing them through a very fine filter and the proteins will adhere to the surface preventing the globules from forming one solid mass.[2]
