Quasiliberalist

From Conservapedia - Reading time: 1 min

Quasiliberalist is a person who is liberal in name only.[1]

Historical background[edit]

In the Austro-Hungarian empire, also called a jail of nations, the term was used by representatives of oppressed nations to describe people in power who outwardly claimed to support freedom, whereas in fact suppressed it when they were supposed to grant it to other than their own nation.[1]
