Woedend!, a Dutch communications company based in Amsterdam, founded Woedend! Games in a business decision when it landed a deal to develop a video game centered around horses.[1] The company debuted their first game, My Horse & Me, at the 2006 Game Developers Conference.[2] Following the release of My Horse & Me, Woedend! Games was renamed W!Games.[1]
On 15 September 2010, W!Games merged with Karami, a developer founded by Martin de Ronde and Michiel Mol (also founders of developer Guerrilla Games) earlier that year, and formed Vanguard Games.[3][4][5][6]
