Calamur Viravalli Sundara Sastri was a leading Vakil of the High Court of Madras,[1] practicing with his partner and adoptive brother, Sir P. Ananda Charlu; his eldest son. C. V. Kumaraswami Sastri apprenticed with him, and, alongside his younger son C.V. Viswanatha Sastri and his son-in law, C. P.
