David Henry Hammer was an American screenwriter, director, editor, producer, and documentary film maker known for works such as Teresita Fernández's Stacked Landscapes (2022), and
Verrocchio: Sculptor and Painter of Renaissance Florence (2019).[1][2] Hammer was the son of American actor Mark Hammer.[3][4] Hammer had a Master of Fine Arts from Columbia University, and served as Senior Producer at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC.[5][2][6]

David Henry Hammer died due to cancer at the Sibley Memorial Hospital at age 57.[7][2]
