    Neptunea occaecata is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Buccinidae, the true whelks.[2]

    Description[edit]

    This deepwater species attains a size of 70-180 mm.

    Distribution[edit]

    North-west Pacific Ocean: Kamchatka area. Trawled at 180 - 200 m. depth.
