Public figure.

2022 Federal Election:

[1] Quintin King is a Hunter Valley coal miner, who was a One Nation[2] candidate for the federal seat of Shortland[3] in the 2022 Australian election.

During the election he campaigned to protect the future of coal jobs in the Hunter.

2023 NSW Election:

He also contested the division of Cessnock in the New South Whales general election March 2023 where he received the most votes of all NSW One Nation Candidates in that election. He campaigned on law and order[4], calling on the NSW government to reopen Kurri Kurri police station. He also called on the government to fast track a "ring road" for Cessnock and he argued against the rush to renewables in the energy sector.

Community campaigns:

King was a key figure in the Cessnock community campaign opposing a proposal to turn Wollombi road[5] into four lanes[6]. Quintin King advocated for a ring road[7] or bypass instead.

He was involved in both the town hall meeting and then the protest[8] march later on.

Policy positions in One Nation:

Energy and Resources - King is a advocate for protecting workers in the industry against the threats of Net Zero policies.[9]

Reduce Immigration - To address the housing shortage.

Economy - Cost of living. Stop endless money printing by reducing wasteful government spending.
