Rahmatollah Ghadimi Chermahini (Persian: رحمتالله قدیمی چرمهینی, born October 10, 1952) was one of the Iranian engineers of NASA.[1] He has a doctorate in mechanical engineering.[2]
Rahmatollah Ghadimi Chermahini was born in 1952 in Chermahin city. Along with farming, he studied science. After high school, he joined the military and after completing his military service, he worked as a translator in a French company for two years.[3]
According to the contents of Chermahini's doctoral dissertation, he graduated from Saeb High School in Isfahan in 1970, immigrated to the United States in November 1976, and received his bachelor's and master's degrees in mechanics in 1980 and 1982, and during his doctoral career Worked as a research assistant in NASA from 1982 until Defense (August 1986).
Chermahini lived in America for eleven years and worked at NASA for five years. He worked at the Swedish Space Center until 1993 and continued to live in the same country. After some time, despite the offer from Japan, he returned to Iran because of his mother.
One of his habits during his stay in America was to run and swim eight kilometers. He is a sports person and considers having a plan as the reason for his success in life.[4]
He has a post-doctorate degree in mechanics of fatigue and failure in solids from Old Dominion University (ODU).
He is currently working at Mobarakeh Steel Company in Isfahan.
