From Wikipedia - Reading time: 4 minTorfnesvöllur (Icelandic pronunciation: [ˈtʰɔrvˌnɛsˌvœtlʏr̥]), known as Kerecis'völlurinn for sponsorship reasons, is a football stadium in Ísafjörður, Iceland[1] and the home of Vestri and Knattspyrnufélagið Hörður.[2] It broke ground in 1963[3] and was opened on 18 July 1964.[4]
The stadium was known as Olísvöllurinn from 2018 to 2024.[5] In February 2024, Icelandic biotech company Kerecis bought the naming rights for the stadium.[6]
