Le prix World Fantasy est un prix littéraire créé en 1975 et récompensant des œuvres de fantasy. Le vainqueur est désigné lors de la World Fantasy Convention. Ses participants établissent la liste des nominations avant qu'un jury, renouvelé tous les ans, prenne sa décision.

La catégorie de la meilleure anthologie récompense les anthologies de fantasy. Cette catégorie a été créée en 1988. De 1977 à 1987, les anthologies étaient regroupées avec les recueils de nouvelles.
