アニクソサウルス（学名：Aniksosaurus）は、アルゼンチンから知られるコエルロサウルス類。

概要[編集]

ホロタイプMDT-PV 1/48は、右後肢の関連する骨で構成される。その他約50の骨がパラタイプに指定されている。アニクソサウルス属で最長の大腿骨は247mmであり、最長の脛骨は 270mmである。脛骨は大腿骨より平均約13%長く、アニクソサウルスの走行の習慣と関係していると思われる^[1]。

MartínezとNovasは全長2m、体高70cm、体重65kgと推定した^[2]。 2013年、IbiricuとMartínezは全長2〜3m、体重35〜45kgと見積もった^[3]。

分類[編集]

MartínezとNovasは後肢の解剖学的特徴に基づきコエルロサウルス類であるとした^[2] 。 2010年、Choiniereらはコンプソグナトゥス科 に近いことを発見した^[4]。

Naish と Cau による 2022 年の研究では、アニクソサウルスはティラノサウルス上科内に置かれたメガラプトル類に配置されている^[5]。

純古生物学[編集]

ボーンベッドはアニクソサウルスが群れを成していたことを示唆しており、群れ行動は古環境における競合相手に対しての有利性となった^[3] 。
