格林尼亚陨石坑（Grignard）是位于月球正面北极附近的一座小撞击坑，其名称取自法国化学家，1912年诺贝尔化学奖得主维克多·格林尼亚（1871年-1935年），2009年1月22日被国际天文学联合会正式接受^[1]。

描述[编辑]

该陨坑坐落在埃尔米特环形山东南坑壁上，西侧和西北分别毗邻莱纳德陨石坑和埃皮努斯陨石坑，更小的戈尔陨石坑位于它的北面、它的南面则横亘了古老的西尔维斯特环形山和相对年轻的洛夫莱斯环形山^[2]。该陨坑中心月面坐标为84°32′N 75°50′W / 84.54°N 75.83°W / 84.54; -75.83，直径12.95公里^[3]，深约2.102公里^[4]。

格林尼亚陨石坑外观轮廓呈椭圆状，东北-西南向较长，坑壁几乎未受侵蚀，内侧壁平整而陡峭。它的坑壁最大高出周边地形表面480米^[4]，内部容积约有86.87立方千米^[4]。由于靠近北极，其坑底几乎被笼罩在黑暗的永夜中。
