Agil Salim oghlu Gurbanov (born 15 August 1986) Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan for military and technical equipment.[1]
Early life and education[edit]
Agil Salim oglu Gurbanov was born on August 15, 1986 in Baku. In 2004-2008, he studied at the Presidential Academy of Public Administration. In 2012-2014, he studied at the London School of Economics and Political Science.[2][3]
He is married. He has two children.
Career[edit]
In 2015-2019, he was the director of investments at PASHA Holding LLC.
Later, he worked as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Sumgayit Technologies Park.
By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated 09.12.2022, he was appointed as the Deputy Ministry of Defence (Azerbaijan) for Military and Technical Equipment.[1][2]
