Aham Rochas (born 1st march, 1994[1]) is a Nigerian entrepreneur and philanthropist[2] whose contribution to societal development won him the prize for community development at the The CEO Network Africa Under 30 CEO awards. He is the eldest son of Rochas Okorocha[3] the Nigerian Senator representing Imo West Senatorial district at the 9th Senate of Nigeria|Nigerian Senate and also the former Imo State Governor|Governor of Imo State[4].
He is the founder and Managing director of the Aham Rochas group [5]of companies and the President of the Aham Rochas Foundation a non-profit, non-governmental that provides scholarships and free education to less privileged children at primary, secondary and university level[6][7][5][1] as well as initiatives to tackle poverty and unemployment[8], he is a member of the board at the Rochas Foundation college of Africa [9].[10]
Aham is the fourth child and the first son of six kids born to Rochas Okorocha and his wife.[11][3], He is a first class graduate of the University of Manchester with a BSc in Mechanical engineering|Mechanical Engineering and has an MSc in mechanical engineering from the Imperial College London, he also has a MSc in entrepreneurship from the University of Cambridge[5]
Aham is an engineer, an entrepreneur and the managing director of the Aham rochas group of companies[10] As part of its efforts to reduce the number of out of school children, Aham Rochas through the Aham Rochas Foundation launched an Emergency Education Program, for Internally Displaced Children (IDPs) in the Federal Capital Territory in 2017.
