    Ganeshpur is a small village of 34 hectares in Soraon Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ganeshpur depends on Allahabad (M Co), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tank and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Ganeshpur's pin code is 229411[4], and village code is 05380800. The area of Ganeshpur is segregated as 25 hectares irrigated area.

    Ganeshpur has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
