Hal Holden (born Harold F. Warren, Jr; August 25th, 1938 - June 11, 1986) was an American actor, theatre practitioner and acting teacher. Born Harold F. Warren, Jr. in Brookhaven, Mississippi to Harold Warren and Sadie Guess Warren[1], taking the stage name, Hal Holden, he is known for his work starring on CBS Television's Jack and the Beanstalk (1956), Pinocchio (1965)[2][3], and appearing the film Playing for Keeps (1986)[4], which he also served as the dialect coach. He acted Off-Broadway in the 1969 revival of George and Ira Gershwin's Of Thee I Sing [5]. Holden is an alumnus and former instructor at the Herbert Berghof Studio in New York, were he worked with master instructors Herbert Berghof and Uta Hagen.[6][7] Hal Holden died on June 11, 1986.
