Major Randeep Hundal (born 7th June 1976) is a 4th generation Indian Army Officer and Entrepreneur.[1] He is the founder of Innovision Limited, a company that offers fully integrated security services, executive protection, facility management, amongst other services.[2] Major Hundal is also serving with Territorial Army.[3][4][5]
Major Hundal is a member of the Governing Council at Central Association of Private Security Industry (CAPSI) and the president of All India Ex-Short Service Commissioned Officer’s Society (AIESSCOS).[6][7]
Major Hundal has received multiple awards and accolades for his contribution to the Industries. He has been featured in several media outlets including, Hindustan Times, The Statesman, Business Standard, and others.[8]
Major Hundal was born in Batala in Gurdaspur district in the Indian state of Punjab. His father was a Colonel in the Indian Army and Grandfather a Major. His Great Grandfather Ressaidar Bur Singh was awarded the Military Cross in World War-I while serving with British Army.
Major Hundal attended the DAV College in Chandigarh and graduated in 1999.He Pursued master course in International business form Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune. He did Executive MBA From Management Development Institute, Gurgaon in 2006.
Major Hundal was commissioned into the 3rd Battalion of The Jammu & Kashmir Light Infantry (Khalid-E-Kashmir) in 2000. He served with 3 JAKLI for five years and resigned in 2005 after completing his tenure. During his stint with 3 JAKLI, he participated in various Counter Insurgency Operations including, Operation Hifazat and Operation Parakaram.
In 2011, Major Hundal took commission in Territorial Army and posted at New Delhi. He is an alumnus of Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, as part of the Short Service Course(SSC)- 70.
Major Hundal is the president of All India Ex Short Service Commissioned Officer’s Society (AIESSCOS). He has been at the forefront fighting for the welfare of Short Service Commissioned Officers of the armed forces demanding Pension, ECHS and OROP on pro rata basis for all released ex SSC /EC/WSES officers.
Major diligently fights for the rights of SSC Officers and has even created numerous jobs for the Ex-servicemen in Innovision Limited and also helped them in getting placements in various other companies across India.
