Rajapur Kalan is a small village of 534 hectares in Nanpara Tehsil in Bahraich district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rajapur Kalan depends on Mihipurwa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Rajapur Kalan's pin code is 271851[4], and village code is 06447900. The area of Rajapur Kalan is segregated as 4.32 hectares irrigated area, 40.32 hectares unirrigated area. the 260.12 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 10 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Mihipurwa and Bahraich to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
