    Siloo is a small village of 815 hectares in Sanchore Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Siloo depends on SANCHORE, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Siloo is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Siloo's pin code is 343041[4], and village code is 02329500. The area of Siloo is segregated as 257 hectares irrigated area, 321 hectares unirrigated, the 237 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).

    The village is connected with a single bus service. Siloo has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

    Siloo is a census village in the district of Jalor, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1593 and has total administration over 269 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

    • Scheduled caste counts for 220 (13.81%) males constitute 129 (8.10%) of the population and females 91 (5.71%).

The workforce is 454 male, 444 female with 523 (58.24%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 353 males and 170 females. 267 males and 143 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 14 male and 19 female agricultural labor. 375 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

    They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SANCHORE and Jalor to sell ghee and make their living.
