Simaliya is a small village of 1417 hectares in Pachpadra Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Simaliya depends on BALOTRA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Simaliya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Simaliya's pin code is 344022[4], and village code is 02141700. The area of Simaliya is segregated as 1331 hectares unirrigated, the 16 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 70 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Simaliya has One post office (Sinli Jagir B.O) and One public telephone. Simaliya has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Simaliya is a census village in the district of Barmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1423 and has total administration over 251 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 156 (10.96%) males constitute 82 (5.76%) of the population and females 74 (5.20%).

The workforce is 346 male, 252 female with 461 (77.09%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 322 males and 139 females. 135 males and 107 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 3 male and 2 female agricultural labor. 137 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BALOTRA and Barmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
