Tajpura is a small village of 191 hectares in Chaksu Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tajpura depends on Chaksu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Tajpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Tajpura's pin code is 303901[4], and village code is 01649900. The area of Tajpura is segregated as 40.06 hectares irrigated area, 48.95 hectares unirrigated, the 95.77 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 5.86 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Tajpura has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Tajpura is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 183 and has total administration over 30 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Tajpura has 26 children, 14 boys and 12 girls.
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 6 (3.28%) males constitute 4 (2.19%) of the population and females 2 (1.09%).

The workforce is 40 male, 44 female with 84 (100.0%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 40 males and 44 females. 26 males and 37 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 2 female agricultural labor.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chaksu and Jaipur to sell wood furniture and make their living.
