Course Syllabus
The purpose of this course is to learn about the various methods a construction project can be delivered. Different interactions between stakeholders create different project delivery methods. |
Lecture 1: Design-Bid-Build
[edit | edit source]Design-Bid-Build is the traditional project delivery method for construction projects. It is a sequential process, where the design documents are completed first, then the contractors bid on the project based on the completed drawings and specification before building the project. It is the longest method, but also has the least risk.
