Careful reading and assessment of EKG is of paramount importance regarding ischemic changes (ST depression/elevation, T wave inversions) in a certain vascular territory with reciprocal changes in the opposite leads, arrhythmia and conduction abnormalities, and left ventricular hypertrophy which is indicative of HCM in the absence of hypertension and aortic stenosis.
