Overview[edit | edit source]

There are no ECG findings associated with esophageal cancer.

Electrocardiogram (ECG)[edit | edit source]

Usually there are no electrocardiogram (ECG) findings associated with esophageal cancer, however, rarely esophageal cancer may spread to the pericardium. ECG findings in this instance would show ST segment elevation that is concave upward and PR segment depression.[1][2]

Widespread ST elevation is seen on several leads. Source: by James Heilman, MD - Own work, CC BY-SA 3.0, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=12789207
