There are certain important clues that can be obtained from history of the patients. Enquiry of patient certain things will help in accaurate diagnosis and treatment.
- Onset,quality and severity of pain, localization of pain
- Changes in visual acuity
- Associated symptoms of photophobia, floaters, headache,visual loss etc
- Pain on blinking
- Pain on movement of eyeballs
- Any other systemic or sinus infections
- Use of contact lens
- Any recent travel
- Any allergies
- Kind of occupation
- Recent trauma
History about comorbidities[edit | edit source]
- History of autoimmune disease
- History of any immunodeficiency conditions
- History of medication(topical & systemic)
- History of similar conditions in the past
