After the results of the campaign of the WHO to eradicate leprosy, the treatment of this disease may be considered cost-effective.
The results of the WHO measures show that with adequate investment in prevention and early treatment of the disease, it is possible to minimize its incidence around the world. Therefore, therapy and research of new and innovative techniques may be considered cost-effective in the case of leprosy.[1]
