There are no x-ray findings associated with melanoma. However, an x-ray may be helpful in the diagnosis of complications of melanoma, which include pathological manifestations of metastatic lesions in the lungs.

• There are no x-ray findings associated with melanoma. However, an x-ray may be helpful in the diagnosis of complications of melanoma, which include pathological manifestations of metastatic lesions in the lungs.
• In the case of metastasis to the lungs, chest x-ray findings can include:

• Unilateral/bilateral lung lesions of varying sizes^[1]
• Bilateral hilar enlargement^[2]
• Paratracheal stripe thickening^[2]
• Bilateral scattered patchy increased interstitial markings^[2]
