Symptoms of melanoma include a rapidly growing existing nevus, non-healing skin ulcers, pruritus, or bone pain.
History and Symptoms[edit | edit source]
Symptoms of melanoma include the following:
- Rapid growth of an existing nevus[1]
- Bleeding nevus[1]
- Cutaneous nodules[2]
- Hyper/hypopigmented skin lesion
- Lymphatic masses
- Melanonychia (brown/blue nail discoloration)
- Non-healing skin ulcer[3][4]
- Painful skin lesion
- Pruritus[1]
- Bone pain[5][6]
