American college football season
The 1948 San Francisco Dons football team was an American football team that represented the University of San Francisco as an independent during the 1948 college football season. In their first season under head coach Joe Kuharich, the Dons compiled a 2–7 record and were outscored by their opponents by a combined total of 216 to 123.[1]
San Francisco was ranked at No. 89 in the final Litkenhous Difference by Score System ratings for 1948.[2]
