The 2024 Caribbean Premier League (CPLT20) or for sponsorship reasons, Republic Bank CPL 2024 is the twelfth season of the Caribbean Premier League, the domestic Twenty20 cricket league that is played in the West Indies.[1] The tournament is being played from 29 August with the final scheduled to be held on 6 October 2024.[2][3] The matches are being played across six countries in the Caribbean: Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Guyana, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and Trinidad and Tobago.[4][5] Guyana Amazon Warriors are the defending champions.

Players

Heinrich Klaasen was ruled out of the tournament due to a family emergency and was replaced by Tim Seifert.[15] Josh Clarkson replaced Tristan Stubbs, who had to return for national duties.[16] Saim Ayub was ruled out of the tournament for national duties and was replaced by Moeen Ali.[17] Tim Robinson will serve as a minor replacement for both Moeen Ali and Rahmanullah Gurbaz.[17] On 8 September, Sherfane Rutherford pulled out of the rest of the tournament due to personal reasons.[18] Fakhar Zaman also pulled out of the rest of the tournament on 8 September to participate in Pakistan's Champions One-Day Cup.[18]

The tournament follows a double round-robin format in the league stage wherein each team plays ten games. The top four teams will qualify for the play-offs.
