The 59th Filmfare Awards South ceremony honouring the winners and nominees of the best of South Indian cinema in 2011 was held on 7 July 2012 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Chennai, India.[1] For this year more than 451 films from each of the four film industries were considered for nominations in various categories.[2]
