Amir Muhammed (born Urdu:امیر محمد; born 21 November 1931) is the Founding Rector and Chairman Board of Governors[1] of National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences.[2] Previously, he was President Pakistan Academy of Sciences. He was appointed Vice Chancellor of University of Agriculture (Faisalabad) in 1974 in the wake of food crisis in Pakistan. In 1978, he was appointed as Founder-Chairman of Pakistan Agricultural Research Council where he served till 1990.[3]
