Anolis australis, the southern stout anole, is a species of lizard in the family Dactyloidae.[2] It is endemic to southern Hispaniola and is found in both the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Males grow to 69 mm (2.7 in) and females to 64 mm (2.5 in) in snout–vent length.[1]
