Asadabad (Persian: اسداباد)[a] is a village in Lar Rural District of Laran District in Shahrekord County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran.

The village is populated by Persians.[4][5]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 719 in 188 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 711 people in 202 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 607 people in 197 households.[2]
