The Assam State Premier League (ASPL) is the state-level football league in the Indian state of Assam. It is the highest state-level football league in Assam organised by the Assam Football Association, currently contested by 8 clubs.[2]
Assam State Premier League inaugural edition of the league started in 2008 with Assam Rifles winning its first title. After some years in 2015 the league was discontinued. But after 7 years in 2023, it was revived by Assam Football Association.[2]

The winner of Assam State Premier League gets promoted to I-League 3, and the last position team gets relegated to the Assam Club Championship. From 2015 season the league has been revamped with the new format. The teams have been divided into two zones - Upper Assam and Lower Assam.[3] The league began with the group stage on home and away basis. The top four teams from each zone qualified for the quarterfinals.[4]In 2023, Assam Football Association revived the league after a gap of 7 years.[2]
