Baqeran Rural District (Persian: دهستان باقران) is in the Central District of Birjand County, South Khorasan province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Amirabad-e Pain.[4]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 14,651 in 4,378 households.[5] There were 26,940 inhabitants in 7,497 households at the following census of 2011.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 34,071 in 9,042 households. The most populous of its 248 villages was Hajjiabad, with 7,749 people.[2]
