c3controls, formerly known as Control Concepts Corporation, is a U.S. manufacturer of electric controls sold worldwide. The company manufactures its products to primarily be sold directly to its customers. Control Concepts Corporation was started by Glenn Taylor in 1976. Taylor, an engineer at Westinghouse Electric, presented his idea for a new line of Pilot Devices and was turned down. In 1977, Control Concepts Corporation manufactured its first mold and parts and began to sell products to customers. By 1980, the company moved to a facility in Vanport, PA and began selling products nationwide. Control Concepts Corporation was selected by President George W. Bush to announce his tax plan to the nation in February, 2001.[1][2][3] In 2002 the company changed its name to c3controls and since then has grown in size and has launched numerous product lines.
