This page lists the candidates in the 2024 Irish general election.[1][2]

Parties

There are 685 candidates running in the 2024 general election. 248 of the candidates contesting are women, making up a record 36% of the total. There are 171 independent candidates. The five-seater Louth constituency has the most candidates at 25, while the three-seater Wicklow-Wexford constituency has the fewest at 10. 20 registered political parties are fielding candidates. Five parties are running in every constituency: Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael, Sinn Féin, Aontú and the Green Party.[3]
