Caspio is an American software company headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, with offices in Ukraine, Poland and the Philippines. Caspio was founded by Frank Zamani in 2000.[3] The company focuses on database-centric web applications.[4][5]

History

Caspio was founded by Frank Zamani in 2000.[6] The company initially focused on simplifying custom cloud applications[7][8][9] and reducing development time and cost as compared to traditional software development.[5]

Caspio released the first version of its platform, Caspio Bridge, in 2001.[10] In 2014, Caspio released a HIPAA-Compliant Edition of its low-code application development platform.[11]

Caspio also released an EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Compliance Edition of its low-code application development platform in 2016.[12] Caspio's second European Software Development Center opened in Kraków, Poland in 2017.[13] Caspio also opened data centers in Montreal, Canada[14][15] and India in 2020.[16]
