Anglican Communion church bodies

From Wikipedia - Reading time: 2 min

Please note: this category is for National Churches and Provinces of the Anglican Communion. For classification of local congregations, and buildings that are used as churches, see Category:Anglican church buildings.

There is no single Anglican Church; it is better to speak of the Anglican Churches. Over seventy million Anglicans are members of national churches, which hold membership in the Anglican Communion and are in communion with the Church of England. Some of the Anglican Churches that do not hold membership in the Anglican Communion are members of parallel federations such as the Traditional Anglican Communion, the Anglican Catholic Communion, or the Anglican Church International Communion. These churches are often referred to as "Continuing" Anglican churches or as part of the Continuing Anglican Movement, and are in Category:Continuing Anglican denominations. Other Anglican Churches that are neither part of the Anglican Communion nor of the Continuing Anglican Movement are still within Category:Anglican denominations.
