District municipalities in Nova Scotia

This category is for the twelve rural municipalities in Nova Scotia that are incorporated as district municipalities.[1] They are alternately referred to as municipal districts by Statistics Canada.[2] As mandated by provincial legislation, their official legal names follow the format of "Municipality of the District of...".[1]
