Freshwater fish of the Arctic

Aggregate of freshwater fish found in the Arctic. Twenty-eight different species of fishes occur in Arctic lakes or rivers. A few of these species spend a portion of their life in the ocean, but so long as they return to breed in freshwater, they have been included here.
