Laboratory schools

From Wikipedia - Reading time: 1 min

The first University Laboratory School was founded at the University of Chicago in 1896, as part of the progressive educational movement. The movement quickly spread to other universities. This category lists North American laboratory high schools started and managed by an affiliated university for research purposes. Some schools are "University High Schools" in name only, or because student teachers from a nearby university were generally trained at that school. Such schools are not included in this category.
