Massacres during the Wars of the Three Kingdoms

From Wikipedia - Reading time: 2 min

The Wars of the Three Kingdoms (1638–1653) formed an intertwined series of conflicts that took place in the kingdoms of England, Ireland and Scotland. During this time a number of incidents took place that some experts have described as massacres. Because some of these alleged massacres were perpetrated by the armed forces of one of the three kingdoms against people from one of the other kingdoms some of the incidents are still controversial.
