This category is for various military units and formations of the White movement, or White Russia, during the Russian Civil War. Often nicknamed the "White Army", they were several dispare formations and units without unified command, goals or ideology. Many of these, but not all, would swear loyalty to the Russian State (1918–1920), ruled by military dictator Alexander Kolchak (18 November 1918 – 7 February 1920). The largest grouping by far, which survived Kolchak's regime for a few months, were the Armed Forces of South Russia.
