Senior sport

From Wikipedia - Reading time: 1 min

This is for sports events restricted to competitors older than those in the most competitive or open category. Some such event have "senior", "masters", or "veteran" in their title. The restriction may involve a formal minimum age (e.g. 50 for golf's U.S. Senior Open) but not necessarily (e.g. the tennis ATP Champions Tour allows players under 35 to compete after two years off the main ATP Tour).

Note that, in the terminology in some sports or used by some governing bodies, "senior" means the top level of competition ("senior" as opposed to "junior", "minor", "intermediate", etc) or a competition with no maximum age ("senior" as opposed to "junior", "under-21", "youth", etc.) This is not the meaning used in this category.
