The sub-category includes categories and articles that describe conflicts and conflict resolution intrinsic to societies of environmental, societal, economic and political nature where the conflict is restricted to a specific recognised nation-state. Civil wars are considered the militarisation of the political conflict, and not military conflicts as such.
