Tux Alps

From Wikipedia - Reading time: 1 min

The Tux Alps are a sub-group of the Central Alps in the Eastern Alps of Europe.

The boundary for the region is taken from the definition of the Central Alps and its subdivisions into individual mountain groups by the Alpine Club division of the Eastern Alps (AVE). According to that, the Tux Alps are bounded by the line: River Inn from Innsbruck to its confluence with the Ziller — Ziller valley to Mayrhofen — Tuxer valley to Hintertux — Tuxer Joch — Kasererbach — Schmirnbach — Wipptal — Innsbruck.
