Articles relating to the Valley of Elah ("the valley of the terebinth"), a long, shallow valley in Israel and the West Bank. It is best known as the place described in the Old Testament where the Israelites were encamped when David fought Goliath (1 Samuel 17:2, 19). It is home to several important archaeological sites.
