Volcanic fields

A volcanic field is a localized area of the earth's crust that is prone to local volcanic activity, and the resulting volcanic landforms.
They are distinct from a volcanic group (volcanic complex), which are a collection of related volcanoes or volcanic landforms. [Please clarify, as this differs from the explanation at the Volcanic group article, which says a volcanic group can be in the form of a volcanic field.]
